Abstract

There are many newly discovered abandoned historical places around the world. In Thailand, the county in Indochina, many ancient sites are presently in ruined place status and there are many attempt for conservation. An interesting way is the innovation of the old place, especially for Buddhist pagoda, into the new one. The use of many new architectural approaches is interesting. Here, the authors present on the use of Core Shell and Semi-coreShell Ubosot: a novel architecture design for protection of archeological heritage. Cases from Thailand are specifically discussed.
